PASTOR PETER LINDEMANN

Pastor/Principal/ Catechism 7-8

     Pastor Lindemann is a 1996 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He has served Zion as pastor since then.

     In these years he has also served as Zion's principal time and again, and has been Circuit Pastor since 2006.

     Pastor Lindemann has been married to his wife, Kris, since 1993 and they have been blessed with 4 sons. Pastor Lindemann enjoys playing basketball and watching his sons play baseball when he has the opportunity.

MISS SARAH GOLDSCHMIDT

Kindergarten

Miss Goldschmidt is a 2020 Martin Luther College graduate. She attended MLC for 3 years after transferring from Concordia University- WI's business program. She graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in theology.

Miss Goldschmidt grew up in Milwaukee, WI and is the youngest of 5 children. While much of her family lives out of state, she often goes home to visit her parents and brother's family, including her lovely niece and nephews.

In her free time, Miss Goldschmidt loves to hike and explore the amazing Door County area. She feels blessed to have been called to a place with such rich natural beauty! Since childhood, one of Miss G's favorite hobbies has been reading.

Her favorite part of being a teacher is seeing the children's love for Jesus shine!

MRS. KRIS LINDEMANN

Support Teacher

     Mrs. Kris Lindemann teaches Kindergarten at Zion Lutheran School.  

     Mrs. Lindemann graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She taught Kindergarten through Second Grade in Pompano Beach, Florida for one year and then taught Third through Fifth Grade in West Bend, Wisconsin for two years. She has been in Door County for the past 25 years and has been teaching Kindergarten for 17 years.

     Mrs. Lindemann has been married to Pastor Lindemann, who is Pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in West Jacksonport and Christ Lutheran Church in Liberty Grove. They have been blessed with four sons. Jason (26) and Anika from Beloit, Jared (24) and Maggie and granddaughter, Everly from Montrose, Colorado, Jonas (22), and Jackson (20).  One of her favorite activities is watching her boys play baseball. She also enjoys going for walks, reading, and watching movies.

     Mrs. Lindemann grew up wanting to be a teacher and loves working with Jesus’ lambs of any age! Her favorite Bible verses are from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

MISS ANNA TREDER

Grades 1-4

Miss Treder has studied at Martin Luther College with a double emphasis in Elementary and Secondary Spanish education. She has also studied in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She is from Wildomar, California. In her free time she loves to play sports, hike, and read books whenever she is not teaching or traveling.

Dawn has been married to Mitch Honold for 45 years and they have three children and nine grandchildren.  Previously, she worked approximately 17 years in the title industry, but is now retired. 


Working with the children, three days a week at Zion Lutheran Early Childcare Care, has given Dawn the opportunity to share the love of God and all that he has provided and done for us. She enjoys watching the children interact with each other and grow as individuals.

MRS. JAMIE BRUCKSCHEN

Grades 5-8

Mrs. Bruckschen has a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Communication Arts and Literature from Martin Luther College. The past two years she taught at Kettle Morraine Lutheran High School in Jackson, WI

is from Cedarbug, WI where her and her husband Noah lived. She loves reading, camping and baking when she is not teaching or hanging out with her family.
